ATLANTA – A legendary debut! On the night when the Astros seemed to have lost their souls returning from Toronto, 25-year-old Zach Cole suddenly appeared like “a bolt from the blue” – helping Houston roar, crushing the Atlanta Braves with a score of 11-3 right at Truist Park.

“First-Swing, First-Bomb”: The crazy moment that started

Zach Cole only needed one hit in his MLB career to put an end to a two-run home run into the right-center field, like a fierce declaration of war.

He then continued to “destroy” with 3 times at the plate, 3 hits, 4 RBI – becoming the player with the best debut in Astros history since 1963, breaking all previous records.

Astros: A “Paralyzed Team” Comes Back Late

Before the game, the Astros were in a near-offensive slump: after the trade deadline, they were constantly “starved” for points, averaging less than four runs per game.

But tonight, they exploded: playing brightly with a string of important hits, taking advantage of every opportunity, beating a young pitcher with an extremely low ERA – Hurston Waldrep – by eight runs on just four hits.

The Astros played a bullpen game full of “rookies”: Jayden Murray opened, followed by Blubaugh, Hernandez and Gordon – all with little or no MLB experience. But they did the magic: holding Atlanta to just three points and stopping any attempts to fight back.

“Cole’s Night” + “Astros’ Night”

It wasn’t just Cole who shone – the lineup of Altuve, Walker, Meyers, Dubón all contributed: “locking” RBIs at crucial moments, breakthrough situations when teammates needed them.

And at the end of the game, Altuve, Alvarez, Meyers were all pulled to rest early because the gap was too safe. A win to “break” the pressure and bring new hope.

Zach Cole wasn’t just the name mentioned throughout the match – he was the jolt to wake up the Astros, the light in the long darkness. If they continue this form, the whole league will have to be wary.
