A small town in Maine is holding its breath tonight.

Two innocent little girls — believed to be only 8 and 9 years old — disappeared on May 6, 2026, and every second matters in the desperate search to find them safely.

The children were last seen in the Highland Terrace area of Mexico, Maine, after reportedly leaving school on foot around 2:30 PM. Since then, there has been no confirmed sighting of either child.

One of the missing girls was last seen wearing a black-and-white tie-dye fleece sweatsuit. She has brown hair with purple highlights, brown eyes, and wears black and pink glasses. She is approximately 4 feet 6 inches tall and weighs around 67 pounds.

The second girl was reportedly wearing camo shoes and possibly jeans with flowers while carrying a purple backpack. She has brown/blond hair, hazel eyes, stands approximately 4 feet tall, and weighs around 70 pounds.

Right now, investigators believe the girls may still be somewhere nearby.

That means one shared post, one phone call, one person remembering something unusual — could save two young lives.

Someone may have seen them walking.
